dagathur666 ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 05:50:58 Well to some extent I can easily agree with that. But just remember that there still are some excellent soundtracks out there, like metal gear solid, drakengard, lair, etc. __________________________________________________
dagathur666 ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 05:46:58 Hey dont forget that some classics also came from the 64-bit. __________________________________________________

OLDSCHOOL6239 ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 11:18:25 Yea as a matter fact I just bought L.O.I. and C.O.D. for the PS2. I'm in the cathedral of L.O.I. it's not all that bad. Theres just times when I don't know what to do.But it's pretty cool __________________________________________________
Jizu16 ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 17:42:19 actually, i think thats the other way around. __________________________________________________
Jizu16 ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 17:39:46 oh k, yeah i understand, i'm starting to feel that way, too. Thats why i loved Lament of innocence, no levels, buss rush's muh harder when you don't kill the firsts bosses in 1 hit, lol. Dracula X Chronicles's boss rush's really harder. Still, try to do speed runs of the newer Castlevania, u might like it. I really love doing Circle of the Moon on Fighter mode without saving and killing almost only bosses. __________________________________________________
OLDSCHOOL6239 ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 17:14:09 The ones on the Ps2 that is,not the GB __________________________________________________
OLDSCHOOL6239 ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 17:11:41 "Oh" yea man I've got that one. It was just over the years when they started putting RPG elements into them it took a while for me to get use to it. No offense to RPG players okay it's just all that leveling up and stuff gets annoying to me.But I still them though. __________________________________________________
ianguage ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 00:18:33 I like to think that the biggest factor contributing to great music from the old days is because those games had something in them that a lot of games these days don't have - passion and obsession. Think about how hard it was to make a great soundtrack in the 8bit era. These days, you don't even need a melody - just a harmonic rythm with strings, and maybe some choir chanting in the background. __________________________________________________
Jizu16 ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 14:20:18 woah! how come? If you miss the old ones, you might like Dracula X Chronicles on PSP. __________________________________________________
OLDSCHOOL6239 ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 09:54:08 Yup man got to agree with you I have yet to have played a Castlevaina on any of the Gameboys I didn't like them. __________________________________________________
hadoke ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 21:15:45 My god! How could I have forgotten mega man? Looking back on the comment that I made I should have also put 8 bit music in there. Thank you for pointing that out! __________________________________________________
Afterlastbeat ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 13:46:48 Personally, I would even say the 8 bit era, since u had great titles as Megaman, Casltevania, Zelda, and of course the classic Mario, and so on... __________________________________________________
relu419 ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 07:13:59 Castlevania The Best Action Epic Legend game 4EVERRRRRR Castlevania 1 to Symphony Of The Night Ps2 and DS "it made dirty" castlevania saga __________________________________________________
hadoke ::: Favorites 2007-12-07 19:58:28 To this day it still surprises me how so many great soundtracks came from a 16 bit gaming console *no offence to old school gamers I'm one too!* __________________________________________________ |
