i have a house in santee in Eutawville on the water and the new law sucks, fishing hasn't been the same in the canal for a couple of years now and now it is hard to fish in the santee river with the water so low...

thanks for the reply ... i took my nephew and his cousin on this trip in the video back in end of july...my nephew filmed it...we were fishing out of blacks camp..caught fish near angels lower lake ..i havent been back since..i bet the water is real low..im ready to go back now that its cooler.

i wouldnt bother, the water is down about8 feet and you have to know where the fish are or you wont catch any......

any tips on where they are biting..i suppose mostly the deeper channels and creeks..i heard you can walk from blacks camp to the first channel markers (marked rocks)

well, there is a swimming area called CATS HEAD and if you are going to harrys fish camp from the interstate then you will pass a barbeque called CHEF'S CHOICE and there is a subdivision down there, my papas house is down there and the swimming hole is even futher and if you don't catch any there go to the dead forrest near the damn with live perch or their heads and make sure you have heavy line, a guy brought to 98lb catfish that he caught there in the same day by the house.
