Description:

If the magnets are arranged so that there is a net repulsion, rotation will result. This is the horizontal arrangement to show that wheel can start to rotate. View also the vertical rotation. See the discussion forum at Steorn for details. The best thread to view is using OU devices to benefit the World. Contributed by Sun et al.

Great video. Great effort. Thanks for sharing!! What are you OTHER (posting) people afraid of? If it does NOT work... then change the channel!! and let US all get some work done. Why do so many people feel the need to be so critical when they are likely NOT ever to be in a lab doing ANY experiments? Oh yea --- all YOU do is read textbooks?

If you feel that you are being 'defauded' then change the channel. Hows that for a 'concep'?

this is a complete fake. The concep violates about a thousand laws of physics, you are defauding your viewers.

I agree with you. It would not work if he dont hold the magnet.

See the companion video with the wheel in the vertical position. Mr. Minato of Japan demonstrated a similar device in 1997. Read the 'using OU devices to benefit the World' thread in the Steorn discussion Forum for details.

This is very interesting, but I also think zenmaster00 has a good point. Why using hands if you're so sure it works without? They should have attached the magnet to something else without any movement. If that would work, ow boy!

There is extra energy put into the system from the movement of the hand-held magnet.
