Metalcore Idea 1 (also my first video)

Description: This is a song I wrote for my metalcore band. It is unfinished so don't judge by that. I recorded this so I could not only write a second guitar harmony, but also see hear the general flow... not to mention my other guitarist can use this clip to learn the parts :) Here is the gear I used for this shitty recording: ESP Eclipse with a Seymour Duncan 18v Metal Livewire humbucker in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan passive Full Shred humbucker in the neck. (I used the Livewire for this whole recording tho). I played through a Marshall MG15DFX practice amp. It was recording using the built in webcam/mic on my Mac. My good equipment is at my guitarists house where the band practices. Lastly, try and ignore my dog. I noticed that she walked into the frame a few times. LOL. Feel free to comment. I would prefer constructive criticism over the picayune bashing that occurs on YouTube. I don't claim to be the best, nor cleanest, guitar player alive. I just have fun.

metalfreekz13 ::: Favorites no offense, but this is generic metalcore stuff man. you technique is very good and clean. i write stuff thats a blend of melodic death/thrash metal. i have 12 songs written, and no 2 sound alike, or like any other song. rather than write the flavor of the week metalcore stuff, you should write stuff that sounds original. im not bashing, but merely pointing you in the right direction. 07-09-22 23:47:55 __________________________________________________
