Fudgy90 ::: Favorites what?! ur a dog trainer?? but you're only 12 or something.. 07-07-14 12:06:34 _____________________________________________________
tellurye ::: Favorites When he craps in your house, you have to tell him "NO" WHILE he is doing it (rubbing his nose in it AFTER is too late - he wont understand. Plus, don't rub their nose it in anyway. Its mean and they wont know why you are doing it. Almost punishing him for doing it. Well, you want him to DO it, but not inside) and immediately take him, and the pile o crap outside. He will smell it outside and put two and two together in a short while. 07-08-02 23:02:01 _____________________________________________________
tellurye ::: Favorites Another mistake dog users make is not give them enough time. Puppies are especially hyper and they will want to come in even if they still have to go. Let them out there, when they stand by the door, point away and tell him to "go potty". Don't let him in for a long while. He will eventually give up and go back to smelling outside, then he will go. 07-08-02 23:02:33 _____________________________________________________
tellurye ::: Favorites And do this as often as you can. Repeating the phrase go potty every time you take him outside, or by walking. 07-08-02 23:05:44 _____________________________________________________
tellurye ::: Favorites Another cool trick, is combine the above with a bell attached to the door, hanging low. As you are taking him out, saying the words, grab his paw and make him "hit" the bell. Do this for a little while, and eventually he will then walk to the door and hit the bell when he has to go. 07-08-02 23:06:32 _____________________________________________________
tellurye ::: Favorites not really, if you have a gun or leave Antifreeze layin around... I'm kidding! 07-08-02 23:46:28 _____________________________________________________
deathbycute ::: Favorites magicly, as of late, every so often he'll scrach at the door. I may try the bell thing to try and save the paint on my door. 07-08-09 12:26:44 _____________________________________________________
Boogookitty77 ::: Favorites You know your good as a dog trainer.. but what about a CAT trainer. I have actualy sort of trained my cat. he sits, stays, and well.. I'm working on shake... but i think it would rock to train a cat. Some people can get the're cats to walk around on the're arms that are formed in a circle shape. If an old ladie can train a goldfish (true story) then some body can train a cat. :D 07-08-09 17:53:03 _____________________________________________________
